Car Rider Tags at DeWitt Elementary: We know that after a long break sometimes things get moved or go missing. If you have misplaced your students car rider window tag, please let your students classroom teacher know and we will get another one sent home ASAP. On days when it is raining, it is very important that your car rider tag is displayed prominently in the front window. This helps us get all students into the correct vehicle in a timely manner and keeps the line from backing up and causing traffic issues at the schools. The Activity Teachers at DES are doing a week of activities with ALL the students together the week before Christmas. We are needing white colored yarn to make snowballs for a giant snowball fight! If you have any yarn you would like to donate, please drop it off in the office or send it with your kids. They can bring it to Mrs Lindsay in PE!

We would like to bring attention to a remarkable accomplishment by one of our teachers within our school district. Our very own elementary music teacher, Mrs. Casi Smith, has recently written, illustrated, and published her own children's book! Mrs. Casi has been a passionate and devoted music teacher going on six years now. She has helped to create a many of programs that have positively impacted students, teachers, and families alike. We would like to celebrate Mrs. Casi's accomplishment as well as share the importance of supporting one another within the community.
